About BOK
BOK: The Irrational adventure with poorly drawn characters. Ever wondered what it's like to be a chicken that's always at the brink of death? No? Why not? Okay, well then how about we make the art style absolutely terrible and up the difficulty by about 22. Still no? Well, you might be out of luck.
The very extraordinary adventure includes:
- 15 unique levels with five different areas to suffer through
- Alternative difficulty game modes
- Extra end-game content
- Cosmetic options with 10 different hats to choose from
- Crabs???
- And more to come, I guess.
Be prepared to be frustrated unless you are an epic gamer, as after countless tests from only an elite selection of gamers (my parents) have tried and failed to complete the game without complaints about difficulty. If you find it too hard, you can try easy mode in the extras menu, and if you find it too easy, there's always hard mode to try. And then limited lives mode. But don't try to do limited lives mode. Seriously.
BOK is a 2D Indie-Platformer made over the span of about a year by a 13-year-old kid with no experience of coding and learned it along the way. So while that feat. may seem impressive, it may prove to not be after install, mainly proven by the minimalistic and simplistic art style. However, the cartoony feel should make it a more laid-back experience that many can enjoy, as long as you disregard any rage you feel along the way. Have fun!!...

Pretty fun game, some levels can be frustratingly hard while others are incredibly easy, but mostly the difficulty remains the same: hard. Very fun way to kill time, a bit clunky, I often get stuck on the edges of platforms, but a very fun game in general.8 found this helpful
Its really fun game but it gets really hard so if your up to challenge i recomend trying and it is really cheap so its not a big lose if you dont like it :)7 found this helpful

Best rage game I've ever played. Incredibly hard, yet entirely beatable. Every time I play I want to both hug the little chicken, while simultaneously wanting to smash every bat and coyote with my keyboard. The simple graphics give the game a homey, ios game feel, and yet the gameplay feels challenging and occasionally makes you work your brain. I like the addition of extra game modes and the counter of how many lives you've lost so you can feel the pain slowly rise along with the endlessly growing number. I give this game a burning 9.5/10 considering the very generous price, and the complexity of such a simple game. (Also buy the lumberjack hat, best hat in the game (especially since it's a reference to a cool person who reviewed this game (me))).6 found this helpful
Bok is a gaming masterpiece, and the next step into the future of 2d platformers. The graphics are outstanding! My powerful RTX 3090 graphics card could not handle the power of Bok's RAYTRACING, ANTIALIASING, and 8k support! Mario and Sonic are definitely shaking in their boots!6 found this helpful
I was genuinely excited to try out "Bok," but it turned out to be a colossal letdown. From the moment I booted up the game, it was clear that it was riddled with issues. First off, the graphics are a mess. I expected something visually engaging, but instead, I was greeted with pixelated textures that looked like they hadn't been updated since the early 2000s. The character models are awkward and stiff, which makes the game feel like a relic rather than a fresh release. Gameplay is where "Bok" truly falls apart. The controls are clunky and unresponsive, making even simple actions a frustrating chore. I found myself constantly battling with the controls rather than enjoying the game. The level design is repetitive and uninspired, with bland environments that lack any real challenge or creativity. It’s clear that little effort was put into crafting a compelling or enjoyable experience. The story, if you can call it that, is a hodgepodge of clichés and nonsensical plot points that left me scratching my head. The dialogue is cringe-worthy and devoid of any meaningful depth, making it hard to invest in the characters or the narrative. To top it all off, the game is plagued with bugs …1 found this helpful
