"GRR BOO I" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This incredibly lazy, badly made platformer might have been put on Steam as a joke... I mean, even in the store blurb the developer refers to this as a "plateformer"... did they spell this wrong on purpose? Did they make the entire game badly on purpose in the hopes of "going viral" for being "so bad it's good"? Largely themeless (is crappy stickman a theme?), this garbage platformer has you doing basic precision platformer challenges. There's only 10 levels, they all suck. The graphics were phoned in, and there's no polish, it's a janky mess. This is a tired, outdated experience from a tired, outdated and obsolete game genre. Just a couple of platformers out of literally thousands have any appeal for gamers lately (Super Meat Boy, Hollow Knight etc). This "me too" Steam Direct platformer in a crowded genre offers nothing new. It's "free", but [i]free[/i] doesn't mean [i]good.[/i]…1 found this helpful
