Instead of embarking on a perilous journey filled with narrow platforms and deadly threats, the game simply lets you follow a bottle as it drifts downstream. You can choose from several different bottles and cans, or a paper boat if you download the free DLC, but they all behave the same. After selecting one of the four rivers, you begin your journey. Although one river takes place at night, none of them offer anything particularly interesting, and they all look very similar. You also don’t have direct control over the bottle, as the current determines its movement. This means you can’t really “lose” the game. There are no threats, and while the bottle may get stuck in shallow water or on the shore, you can push it back by throwing stones at it. If that doesn’t work, there’s also an “unstuck” button. I wasn't expecting much game play from a game with such game title... But i ended up having much much more fun than the average fishing games i have in my library... yes i know this isn't a fishing game, but it does let you fish while follow your bottle along the stream, which makes it so much fun like back in the old days where kids are allowed to play in the stream chasing bottles and throwing stones... This is something the modern kids lost due to generation gaps and new law updates... well... we now have the digital version... And believe it or not... if you get this on the tablet version, your cats might actually enjoy it as well...

Watching something float down a stream is very relaxing. The only downside is you have to follow them on foot to truly enjoy the experience, or rig the thing with a lightweight action cam and risk losing it etc. This game solves that problem. You can also skip stones and catch little fishies without getting your hands all slimy and wet. Now you get to enjoy the peace of nature without ever leaving your room, which is honestly kinda sad.
