About Bowerwhelm

Bowerwhelm is a game that aims to deliver the purest form of the rogue-like experience. This pursuit led the game to adopt a minimalist style with simple graphics. We've incorporated all the enjoyable aspects that define the rogue-like genre and stripped away everything else.
At its core, Bowerwhelm is a simple yet fun rogue-like game. It has the same loop as other similar games. However, the game was developed with the vision of prioritizing the addictive core loop rather than trying to introduce extra unnecessary features.
It features simple controls, putting you in command of an archer facing various geometric enemies. Initially, your abilities are just an enchantment for your basic attacks. As you progress and acquire new skill cards, you can craft your unique playstyle.

You can create AFK builds, random chance-based builds enabling one-shot kills, or mobility builds enhancing your movement abilities. When you need currency, you can grind using Farm builds to ease your money-making process. Alongside evolving your skills, you can also purchase permanent upgrades.
Each map presents different challenges, with greater difficulty offering increased rewards. Different enemy types demand distinct strategies. However, if you're not a big fan of developing strategies, worry not. You can beat the level by evolving the abilities you enjoy. You can focus on building a deck centered solely on powerful attacks or passive abilities.
If you're a whimsical player wanting it all, that's possible in Bowerwhelm too. You can mix skills and create hybrid builds. While each ability can complement the other, creating these combinations might require a bit of trial and mathematical cunning.
Meet Nashved in the Realm of Boweria
When you step into the Realm of Boweria, the Supreme Rulers will assign you a supervisor. Throughout your journey, "Nashved" will be there to assist you. He has a somewhat sarcastic personality, so please take his comments in good humor.
Every imbecile who arrives in this realm should have someone to guide them. Yes, in Boweria, mortals are called “imbeciles.” Please don't take offense; let's call it cultural diversity... The Supreme Rulers reward imbeciles with new abilities and coins based on the reports from the supervisors.

Starting Tips:
- Take your time to collect capsules. Don’t hurry they won’t disappear
- Check your quests to unlock new skills
- Don’t forget to evolve your skills
- Buy permanent upgrades to start stronger
- Seek for powerful skill combinations

fun but no steam cloud, also 2k res support will be appreciated.2 found this helpful
I’ve played the game for over an hour and had a great time. It’s impressive how much depth and sense of progression the game offers despite its simple visuals. The fact that this was made by a single developer is a huge achievement. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
Recommended A fresh take on the horde survival genre with some really cool upgrades and systems. The ability to evolve individual skills in your deck and customize its size adds an interesting layer of strategy. The gameplay is simple—think Survivors-style but as an FPS. You shoot colored numbered balls until enemies are defeated, upgrading your character rogue-lite style to progress further through each level. Upgrades are satisfying, leveling feels rewarding, and the game overall is fun and engaging for fans of survival and rogue-lite mechanics.
