I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…3 found this helpful
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with keyboard & mouse
This is probably the worst VR endless runner. Touch controllers do not work, only Vive wands. You have to use keyboard & mouse. If you choose Vive then your FOV will be greatly reduced, so just choose standard. The graphics are some of the worst in VR. The buildings look like cardboard cutouts. Bad textures, poor assets. The cockpit view feels like it's strapped to your face, especially when you look around. The environments are dull & uninspired. You collect these colored targets while trying to avoid any obstacles. Several obstacles move. That's about the only exciting thing about this endless runner. Don't showcase this game to friends or family new to VR, they will hate VR. I wouldn't recommend this game even if it were free. Why did I spend .66 cents on this? No possibility of refund either (past deadline). Ugh! Rate 3/10. At least it didn't crash ... but seriously, it's not worth any money unless you want to be pushed over the edge of sanity.3 found this helpful
CYBER JOLT VR is a virtual reality arcade title developed and published by Deceptive Games that focuses entirely on speed, reflexes, and immersion. Built around endless flight mechanics and wrapped in a neon-heavy futuristic presentation, the game delivers a compact VR experience inspired by retro science fiction visuals and old-school arcade design philosophy. Rather than building itself around story progression or large-scale content systems, it chooses a narrower focus centered on survival, score chasing, and mastering increasingly demanding environments. The premise is intentionally simple and designed to place players directly into action. Players pilot a futuristic craft through a cybernetic world filled with glowing structures, hazards, and obstacles that require fast reactions and precise movement. The objective revolves around survival and distance, pushing players to stay alive as long as possible while navigating environments that become progressively more dangerous. There are no lengthy introductions or complicated systems to learn. CYBER JOLT VR immediately commits to delivering an arcade experience where improvement comes from practice and stronger execution. doesn't work on oculus
Don't waste your money: Issues: - Exit button doesn't work - If you have a trigger slightly pressed during takeoff, the controlls will be skewed towards that side. - Annoying Music - Not much work was put into this phone app
