About Broadside Renegades
"Captain, we've got incoming... it looks like a whole... multiple fleets!"
An easy raid on a fringe system just turned into a battle against the whole Loyalist Armada. All your ships fancy gadgets are in the shop. Shoot and loot whatever you can get your hands on, and hope engineering can cook up something to keep you alive. Choose new items or upgrade the ones you have, and warp to the next sector. Each captain brings their own abilities and ship to the battle, while your crew mans the rest. Unleash a heavy broadside or deploy the rail gun against a cruiser, while missile launchers clear the fighter wings.

Warp gates are for nerds and loyalists, use your personal drive to travel to new sectors. Planets may be heavily defended but have orbital goods for the taking. As long as you know how to fly, an asteroid field is a great place to make your stand.

Four different loyalist factions are sending everything they've got to end piracy once and for all. The Royal Watch will attack from afar while the Mercenary Knights attempt to slice your ship open with the plasma glaive. The longer the battle goes on, the more ships will join the fray. A handful of fighters will turn into an onslaught of destroyers. 30+ enemy ship types will follow you across the stars.

First couple runs were frustrating but I quickly got the hang of it and starting having a lot of fun. It's a criminal shame that this game only has 6 reviews (at the time of this writing). It's like Space Pirates and Zombies and a *Survivors game had a love child.4 found this helpful
Technically, game performs great. Music and SFX are terrific. Play is more nuanced and interactive than I expected and the game is really fun as a result. Great "one more round" type feeling where starting over doesn't disappoint.3 found this helpful
This game remind me alot of ''Space pirate and zombie 1'' and thats a good thing! it;s very fun! and i do hope there wil be more content or kind of a sequel with modern 3D grafhicxs or something 9/101 found this helpful
genuinely fun
This is a bit raw but quite good. It gets even better if you stay for longer and unlock some more ships!
Its not bad, but needs a couple of changes: The first song of the soundtrack is pretty awful. The rest are okay. The pickups are tiny, hard to see on some backgrounds. Maybe give them a slow blinking outline so they pop. The fighter should be the default ship.
