Burger Bistro Story

The ultimate high-dopamine fast-food management sim that will make you completely lose track of time. Kairosoft has officially perfected the restaurant management sub-genre with Burger Bistro Story. While they have explored food themes in the past, this title stands out as one of their most satisfyingly deep and mechanically tight packages to date. You start as a tiny, unassuming corner diner with a single kitchen counter and a dream, tasked with turning your humble burger joint into a massive, multi-story fast-food empire. The iconic, vibrant pixel art and charmingly detailed little sprite animations—where you can watch customers queue up outside, read your custom menu boards, and literally jump for joy after biting into a high-tier meal—create a wonderfully cozy, high-dopamine atmosphere that hooks you from the very first minute. The real meat of the gameplay lies in the incredibly addictive, open-ended Burger Customization system. Instead of just purchasing pre-made items, the game gives you total freedom to experiment with layers upon layers of ingredients, stacking patties, bacon, fried fish, avocado, and custom sauces together to discover unique flavor profiles and high-sco…

This is my 1st Kairosoft game and I don't know why it took so long for me to find this but I loved every second of this and can't wait to try out your other games. Well done Kairosoft you guys are a hidden gem.

You know, I've played a TON of Kairosoft games and I haven't talked about it in my reviews of the games but jesus christ do they bombarde you with so many notifications like you don't know what your doing half the time, it slows the game down which is always AN ISSUE with Kairosoft games but jesus did I feel it the most with this.

Fun for about an hour but I gave it over two as a fair shake; after then you'll realize that you have no hiring options (if you reject the candidate they just return next time and you've wasted precious currency.) You have to click on question marked people and suggest a dish just to gain them as a customer in the first place, and have no say in where you put your booths, banners, or tables because it only goes into a handful of pre-selected areas. Hearts and burger currency are moderately hard to come by yet everything in the game needs it. You need a lot of them for a permanent recipe, otherwise you can only keep the recipe for free for the in-game year. There's also an ad in-game on the drop down menu to check out Kairosoft's other titles (and an ad to check out their other games at the end of every in-game news article.) Do yourself a favor and skip this one entirely. Definitely one of the weakest, if not the worst title by Kairosoft. They have plenty of better games.

Always love these series as I can play and go back and forth between doing other things or for taking small breaks.
