Noir, the waiter, tells her that she has already died, but failed to go to heaven and, as a lost spirit, she ended up at the entrance to Café 0.He later gave Corliss a chance to return to a week before she died.But does she really need to go to heaven?And what is the truth behind her untimely death?

NEW FEATURES ON REMASTERED VERSION
- Major graphics update! All backgrounds are redrawn, and all CGs are remastered.
Sprites are also remastered with some color adjustment. - Interfaces are renewed, make it easier to access.
- Day Selection feature is added to start the game from the chapter you want.
- Controller is now supported.
- Full HD resolution.
- Lip movements and blinking eyes are now added to the characters.

XD [i]CAFE 0 ~The Sleeping Beast~ REMASTERED[/i] is a mystery visual novel developed by ROSEVERTE MYSTERY and published by ROSEVERTE. As the name states, this is the remastered version, and the original is still available for purchase on Steam. Even though I wrote up a review for the original version, I will not be referring to it for this review. Anyway, you take on the role of Corliss Green, a young woman who has recently been employed as a maid for the Ashford family. However, the real reason she has come to the village nearby the Ashfords is that Corliss is looking for her missing aunt, Sophie Evans. It was her mother's last wish, and Corliss wants to fulfill it. However, before she can find out anything about her aunt (or anything else, for that matter), Corliss awakens to find herself at the door to Cafe 0. It is a place where those who have recently departed but don't know where to go (heaven, hell, or elsewhere) end up. Why did I not try this sooner? Absolutely loved it, Nathan and Ethan are adorable and the mystery is very well written. Love the voice acting, too.2 found this helpful
VN is great for learning Japanese lots of spoken dialog and it doesn't run too long use with meikipop github project allow for instance lookup of Japanese while in game. Runs on Linux
