About CAGE

*****************************************************
Important: This game has no online functionality. It is LAN (Local Area Network) only. This means you have to be connected to the same router as your friends. This game could not be free otherwise.
*****************************************************

CAGE is a twist on the classic LAN arena shooter. It features lightning-fast gameplay fully exploiting all three dimensions of motion. The "tether" allows for unprecedented freedom and agility of movement, creating explosive action unlike any other shooter.

Features:
- 4 Maps: ThreeTowers, Stalks, Port, and Struct
- 3 GameModes: Deathmatch, KeepAway, and King of the (moving) Hill
- 9 powerful, satisfying weapons

CAGE is, and will always be, completely free to play, with no microtransactions. This game has been my passion project for the last few months, and I want as many people as possible to play it.

Bringing back the LAN party!

It's no surprise it failed. So, CAGE is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some…

It's good fun for about half an hour with some friends. It would need a glow up and more content to be worth much money, but it's free rn, so why not get it!
