What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's atmospheric art style and music, with some enjoying the core mechanics and difficulty scaling on higher levels. However, critics argue the gameplay is overly linear and repetitive, with limited content consisting of basic enemy encounters and key hunting across roughly 20 rooms, feeling more like an unfinished prototype than a complete game for its asking price. Common requests include additional features like sound feedback for macros, multiple endings, and access to the soundtrack and artbook separately.
What an awesome atmosphere. It is super tense to fight. You need to plan the right input, type correctly and fast as your health quickly depletes. All this tension makes you plan your strategy before going into the battle. Loved it.2 found this helpful
Incredibly atmospheric and enjoyable experience. My first rodeo in the typing genre (had my doubts) but still managed to have SUCH a delightful time, the soundtrack and art really tie it all together very nicely. The story is intriguing and presented in a very fun way, but I am a bit sad that it wasn't a focal point. A very solid 8/10, definitely got me intrested in dev's other projects.1 found this helpful
Really fun and challenging gameplay! Great for people who like typing and/or survival horror games.
One of THE coolest games I've seen in a minute. Pretty difficult if you can't type accurately under pressure; I've only managed to beat it on the easiest difficulty. Really gorgeous art direction, the music is very fitting though I wish it didn't cut out completely when you aren't actively in combat. Short, challenging, absolutely beautiful visual style, absolutely pick this up!
