What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the nostalgic Carmen Sandiego aesthetic and generally accessible gameplay that appeals to both children and adults, though some enjoy it more than others. However, common complaints center on slow pacing, excessive loading screens, overly simple puzzles, and a lack of challenge that leads to boredom relatively quickly. Most agree the game delivers on its nostalgic premise but recommend waiting for a sale, as the solid animations and graphics alone don't compensate for the repetitive gameplay experience.
Yeah, this ain't it, chief.4 found this helpful
What I played was a nice little blast from the past, but I got really bored after a little bit. It looks good, but it's so simple it's not worth it to me.2 found this helpful
It was fun, it's very challenging1 found this helpful
Clunky movement controls in the third person, not as much action as I would have hoped considering the series it was based off of. Think more of an evolution of the old CS games rather than a new interesting one.
Reminds me of the old school carmen game.
fun game to play, and you can learn a lot
