About Carrie's Order Up!

Carrie's Order Up! is a challenging arcade game inspired by the likes of Pac-Man and Game & Watch. As Carrie, a crab waitress in a port town's restaurant, you have to serve spaghetti, pancakes, and burgers to all kinds of sea creatures without bumping into them!

Aside from charming characters and SNES-quality pixel art, this game contains:
 • Service Mode featuring 20 Rounds of food serving and fish skirting.
 • Friendlier difficulty level for those who want a more easy-going experience.
 • Earn money to unlock new features: endless mode, holiday mode, color palettes... and a playable extra character!
 • 160 side challenges for completionists for those who seek a true challenge.
 • Game pad support.
 • In-game record keeping.
 • High score tables to compete with others on Steam, including your friends.

Mechanics may be simple, but a level of depth to the mechanics exist, with tons of achievements to reward those that learn to master being a crab waitress! If you're looking for a cute and challenging game that lifts inspiration from arcade titles, you'll find hours of entertainment in Carrie's Order Up!

There's much movement to master in this cute but tough gem. The "casual" tag is completely misused! A quality arcade game that's heavy on the multi-tasking, with action as tight and slick as the cartoon style; your mistakes are your own! Pick up orders and take them to your hungry undersea patrons, while routing or spinning past clients yet to find their seats. There are coins (tips) to collect in the aisles and a rechargeable stamina limit for your spinning. The fatter the fish, the more it takes to whirl past! Dirty dishes are a definite part of the strategy, though too easy to forget: you can haul 'em to the washer for extra money -- the higher the stack the better, just like the food-laden plates -- but you don't have time to clean them all up . . . yet you can't haul dirty dishes with the fresh food, either, so if you accidentally snatch a dirty plate while trying to get back to the counter for some stupid squid's steak, you're forced to detour and seek the sink first -- losing valuable time if one those b@stard sharks starts to grumble over his absent eggs! So you really need to keep a few empties cleared out, because you ju…

A perfect arcade game, probly would've been more more fun if it was on an arcade cabinet but still it's pretty good, didn't even pity the money I spent. However: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3678829634

can't think of many other games that really capture that classic arcade feeling of "why would you play this it sucks and makes no sense" to "oh ok I get it completely let's MOVE" plus a rally interesting "play good get better" approach where the tips and tricks you get before levels aren't random or assigned to the level but rather based on how many levels you've done that run without dying, also carrie is cute.

An INCREDIBLY cute arcade styled game where you play as a cute crab lady (very underrated species for characters I feel). The game is fun, the sprites and character designs look great, and it even has a story mode!
