Carrot Survivors is a couch co-op roguelike where you and your friends fight off waves of vegetable zombies using ridiculous weapons like fire extinguishers and combat drones while exploring a destroyed factory facility. What sets it apart is its focus on team-based chaos, diverse character roster with unique weapons, and creative environmental mechanics like vending machines and industrial vacuums that reward exploration and strategy.
Team up with your friends, or together with NPCs, in this team-first experience. Carrot Survivors is the perfect survivors-like for some Saturday afternoon couch fun with friends! Keyboard and multiple controllers supported: Not enough controllers? No problem! Plug more keyboards!
One-handed play mode: Dual wield your controllers for maximum efficiency!
No more boring grass fields! In Carrot Survivors you'll explore the remains of the Carrot Corp facility, now destroyed after this carrot zombie apocalypse. Out there, you'll find useful machines that will help you get an edge over your foes: Grab a snack at the vending machine, or fire up that industrial vacuum cleaner to bring in those hard-to-collect pickups.
Featuring a big character roster, you'll be unlocking new content on every run! Find your allies scattered across the map, recruit them as hirelings and keep them around for long enough to permanently recruit them. Each new recruit brings in a new unique weapon that will appear in future runs! Don't forget to try our free demo and wishlist the game to receive our updates!

Interresting and silly take on of this genre. Cool and different weapons where every upgrade improve it drasticaly. For unlocking characters you need to find them on the map and hire to your team. Juicy, responsive and fun gameplay. Recommended.2 found this helpful
Great alternative to Vampire Survivors if you prefer something more lighthearted! Good graphics, solid gameplay, humour, all there! Also you can find up to three companions during the run, which makes the gameplay more interesting: it is not solo anymore, you level up them separately, so there is an interesting opportunity to find synergies. In terms of movement: you have dash! Oh, the movement with dash is so much more satisfying! A couple of quality-of-life suggestions: maybe the ability to make in-game font larger? I play on TV and I can't see levels of characters properly, the numbers are too small. Also text on the altars (?) or other pickups. Another thing: the timer is hidden right below Steam's FPS counter (top left corner) haha, but that's just me I guess. One big thing also for me personally: lack of dopamine satisfaction in terms of level-ups and pickups. More happy sounds and animations when you achieve something would make the game more satisfying. I think I got used to over-the-top celebrations when you find a chest in Vampire Survivors.2 found this helpful

Really could do with a toggle to prevent the dialogue from pausing the game after your first run, and I strongly encourage the dev to borrow a few more of the meta-progression features from the inspiration, but it's a real good time once you get over the initial hump! Standard experience with several characters unlocked: I'm a chicken with a minigun-stapler at the head of a machine-gun doomtrain, drifting in the 90s through fields of bugs and zombie vegetables while carrying a plank over her shoulder, hoping all the while my manager doesn't send in the military before I find a buddy I've not unlocked yet to join the fight.2 found this helpful
