Castle in The Clouds DX

In all honesty, it's been too long since I played Midnight Castle Succubus, so I can't really compare it in terms of quality, but just based on my loose recollection I'm pretty sure this one is better. It worked in its favor though, as I've grown much more fond of boobs in the years since my previous experiences with Libra Heart's work. But, seriously, this is a really solid Classicvania clone. Is it difficult? Not at all in my opinion, you really just need to minmax attack and use the whips and you're set, but it's enough to keep you engaged between the beautifully animated H-scenes. There's some weirdness with the text and numbers in the UI overlapping at certain points, but I assume that's primarily a result of the game not being designed for English. The rest of the graphics are fantastic, beautiful pixel art that keeps the vibe of an old NES-esque game without skimping on what we're really here for. Most H-scenes are designed around being a screen nuke upon completion, which I actually really dig, but I think it's also where the game has its biggest missed opportunity.
