I absolutely adore Cat at Home Its a game thats clearly a labor of love. Every single second of playing it gave me the sense that the devs truly loved what they were creating. It was so easy to get completely enthralled in the gameplay because you could genuinely feel the devotion and care that was put into it, The puzzles were challenging, but exactly the kind of difficult I was looking for. Finding the solution was so rewarding for every single puzzle, there was a very visceral sense of accomplishment. If you want to put your critical thinking and problem solving skills to work, Cat At Home is the way to go. The art style is what initially drew me to the game. Its so beyond adorable, it gave me some real childhood nostalgia vibes with its storybook like quality. Every single character is incredibly cute, though Collie is my favorite. The storyline throughout the game is just wonderfully fun. If you're willing to suspend your belief and give in to the whimsy and joy that is being a small orange cat who helps run a house and a bar with a bunch of animal friends then you will thoroughly enjoy this game. Cat at Home is a story rich, cozy cat-themed adventure puzzle game developed by Meowsoft and published by Liquid Meow and Meowsoft. Gameplay & Plot You play as Orange, a stray cat with a white and orange fur pattern who gets adopted into a household. After sleeping for a week, you wake up in a bedroom and take control of Orange using WASD to move; left-click on highlighted objects to interact with them and read their descriptions. Soon, you meet Coal, a gray patterned resident cat who needs your help, he will give you some clues and ask for your assistance fixing a door. Coal is too [strike] lazy [/strike] hungry and low on energy to do it himself, so you must help him reach the living room to get food. As you explore the mansion, you can interact with many items. Venturing into other rooms introduces you to more residents: Collie, a dog who gives you missions while he slacks off and sleeps, plus various other animals like a parrot, guinea pigs, all of whom will assign you fetch tasks. If you enjoy puzzle games and find this aesthetic appealing, I highly recommend Cat at Home! It's rare that I can find games that "look like this" but also have a variety of challenging puzzles. ...Kind of reminds me of Professor Layton in that it like looks like it'd be short and could be for kids - but then I get into it and it's actually way more content and more challenging than I expected.2 found this helpful
