Cato, the cat

This game is cross between Tetris and a Match 3 game. It's pretty basic, but enjoyable. Sometimes at the end of the day I just want something that's not intense. This is a cute game with a cute cat. Definitely recommend =)

When I think Match 3 game, I think of something relaxing. The timer system of the multiple resources the cat needs that you have to keep collecting makes this anything but relaxing.

It's actually weirdly stressful & intense! I expected a game I could space out on before bed... but it's surprisingly high pressure: you have to manage 3 different resources that are constantly draining, like a timer. If they reach zero you lose shortly thereafter. You have to match 5 different tiles, 4 have to do with resources, the 5th is a currency that you use to buy bombs--the main way to get rid of clutter of leftover pieces on the board. So you're trying to clear space for the awkward shapes it starts throwing at you, while dealing with three different timers and managing a currency. It's way more engaging of a puzzle game than I wanted, but if you're into that, very cool.

Game is obsessed with the Leaderboard it takes you to it at the end of every level. I'm not here to compete and race against a timer, I just wanted a cute relaxing cat puzzle. This is not a cute relaxing cat puzzle. The "relaxing mode" still includes a timer and still takes you to the leaderboard at the end. I would have enjoyed this game without a timer, this is like starting Tetris after it's already sped up, and whatever need the cat is lowest on is the item the spawn rate is lowest on. I uninstalled.

Great little puzzle game with fun mechanics and a cat that lets you know when your doing well or sucking. Leaderboard is always a great thing to shoot for. GG!
