About Channel 51

CHANNEL 51What would you be willing to see to get your daughter back?Your reputation is in ruins, and your career is dead. But none of that matters compared to the void left by the disappearance of your daughter, Chloe. As a technician, you’ve spent countless nights scouring through forgotten television sets, searching for a signal, an answer, a miracle. One night, you found a VHS tape dated after she went missing. As you played it, reality fractured. The television didn't just emit images; it sucked you into its screen.Welcome to Channel 51. Here, your remote control is not a household appliance; it is your only weapon to survive and the only key to escape this labyrinth of cursed broadcasts.

ABOUT THIS GAME

  • MASTER YOUR REMOTE CONTROL: Your remote is your only tool for interaction. Use it to power devices on and off, adjust volumes, manipulate physical elements in the environment, and tune frequencies. There are no abstract riddles here: you act upon the world in a direct and tactile way.
  • METROIDVANIA-STYLE PROGRESSION: Channel 51 is an interconnected complex. As you overcome the challenges of each program, your remote evolves, unlocking new buttons and advanced functions. Return to previous areas to access blocked zones and discover secrets that were once out of reach.
  • MISSION-BASED CHANNELS: Each channel is an independent world with its own objectives. From uncovering the truth behind a retro sitcom to investigating biological labs, transit centers, or horror mansions. Solve the puzzles of each broadcast, find key items, and complete the missions that will allow you to advance.
  • DANGER IN THE STATIC: The Dark Noise watch from within the signal. Learn their patterns, use stealth, and leverage your remote's functions to dodge them or clear them from your path. Survival is just another piece of the puzzle.
  • UNRAVEL THE MYSTERY: You are David, a technician in search of answers. Explore every corner, find the records, and reconstruct the story of what happened. Every completed channel is a vital piece to understanding the dark enigma behind Channel 51.

KEY FEATURES

  • First-Person Psychological Thriller: Immerse yourself in a deep story where the atmosphere is your greatest enemy.
  • The Remote as an All-in-One Tool: Forget menu-based puzzles; manipulate objects, power up systems, adjust frequencies, and solve environmental challenges through direct interaction.
  • Metroidvania Progression: Your remote evolves. Unlock new capabilities to access locked areas and complete pending missions in previously visited channels.
  • Channel-Hopping: Jump between diverse television environments (retro sitcoms, biological labs, film noir, bowling alleys, Egypt...), each with its own missions and secrets.
  • Survival & Stealth: The Dark Noise lurk in the static. Master their patterns and use your wits to remain undetected.
  • Environmental & Fragmented Narrative: Nothing is what it seems. Every object, document, or recording you find is a key piece to unraveling the mystery of Channel 51.
  • Total Immersion: Dynamic sound and lighting that react to your actions, creating an experience that shifts with every channel.
