About Chess 'n' Blocks
Have you ever considered playing Chess and Tetris simultaneously? Guess what? My strange brain did for years; I don't know why. But I finally took the time to create this game. And that's how chess 'n' blocks was born.The game is designed to be straightforward. Two players engage in a fast-paced chess match, known as blitz mode. You both have 5 minutes to play all your moves. When it's your turn, a timer decreases until you make your move. If this timer reaches 0, you lose. Simple right?But that's not all. Once the first move is done, Tetris pieces start falling! And if you lose at Tetris or chess, you lose, too!But I also wanted to connect both games; how? That's the funny part: if you take a piece at chess, a line spawns at the bottom of your opponent's Tetris, making it harder for them. But what if it's not your turn at chess? Then try to break three lines on your Tetris to add two to your opponent's one! Or make a Tetris by breaking 4 of them and adding three lines this time!Quite simple, right? Focusing on both games is not easy at all! But it's the spice!

This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] The concept here seems novel, fine, even innocent... we've heard about "Chess boxing" where two combatants engage in alternative rounds of chess and then jump into a boxing ring and thump each other. This electronic equivalent keeps the chess, but swaps the pugilism for a realtime PvP Tetris game... okay. And there's the problem. Tetris is a registered trademark. Good Game, hard drop needs added to tetris and a new texture pack would help. On the chess side of things there should be a clock under the board and something big and noticable that apears on your side when its your turn. Also, in the audio, I would add a clock ticking sound when it is your turn in chess. instead of capturing pieces doing damage to the other player in tetris i would have clearing 2 tetris lines at once adds 1 line to opponent, clearing three lines at once adds 2, and getting a 4 clear adds 3 or 4. Also, in the chess texture pack it is important to make sure the king and the queen look distinctively different. 10/10 game though
