About Chipmunk's Adventures

A sunshiny, summer-time, and picturesque logic mind-teaser. But summer cannot last forever. Help the Chipmunk stock up on seeds and nuts for the very cold incoming winter.
Plunge into an interesting adventure passing the forest worlds through lots of levels of varying difficulty. Put to a good use the balls and bricks; plan your actions in advance. This is not easy, because monsters and traps that must be overcome to get to the nut at the other end of the level will hinder you

Features:
● Well-thought-out levels that will stick in your memory
● Beautiful pixel art. Forest, rivers, and animals
● Relaxing music and sound effects
● Plan your actions a few steps ahead
● There is no time limit. Take your time and think as much as you like
● Hints on the most disobedient levels
● Several hours of fun and interesting gameplay

Competent planning of your further moves will help you gain gaming experience for the follow-up action in more complicated puzzles and will make you think hardThink over different puzzles, try various options for passing, and do not be afraid to experiment3 Worlds with increasing complexity of logic puzzles, where thinking and passing through the game can take a lot of time

Push rocks around to make a path past pitfalls and enemies (or crush them) to get the nut on each level. With just 45 levels, the store page probably gives you enough to tell whether you'd be interested, but if not you can check out the demo. It's a mixed bag, but unique enough to take a look if you like the genre. There are some weak points for quality of life. I don't consider the music "relaxing" as the store page suggests. There are just a handful of tracks, all composed in the "my first keyboard" sound-palette heard in the Trailer, and (like the Trailer) almost all of them eventually turn into an ill-fitting, clubby **oomph**oomph**. Not for me, so good thing there are separate volume controls for Music and FX, accessible from any me…

A game featured/hidden in the clutter on sub-par bundles but pretty decent and worth it's price right here on the store. Would have bought it here right away if i knew it was a proper game and not some asset flip. Mechanics are simple: Push items to spots to reach the goal. Not so easy as it seems and some maps really force you to think. Luckily a internal hint system exists where you exchange seeds for hint to certain areas of the map. ex. a map with 2 sections (and maybe a check point between) -> you can spend up to 2 seeds on this map alone. You get seeds for completing packs and crushing enemies on maps. Some maps require you to push boxes into holes to clinch the 3rd star etc. So lots to do and well designed. Graphics might be a bit sub-par for larger screens though. Mostly menus. Not a problem for me with normal PC screens.

Chipmunk's Adventures is a 2D retro pixel Sokoban ripoff where you push rocks and stuff around a retro 2D pixel forest themed grid. There's no real compelling gameplay beyond what you get playing Sokoban, which is free. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. It was put together using a video game construction kit (probably Construct 2, the game uses NW.js which is the foundation for the craptastic train wreck that is Construct 2). No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Game construction kits are intended as educational tools and to make demos and games to share amongst friends. They shouldn't be misused to create lazy cash grabs and shovelware masquerading as professionally developed games. Games like this, created using low quality co…

One time a chipmunk crawled under the lawnmower and when I started it to cut the grass it's guts and chipchunks spewed out all over my mom's potted plants and she came out and started crying and my dad started beating me with an extension cord. I relive this trauma every day inside of my head and it's league more entertaining than any amount of enjoyment this game could possibly have to offer.

I've gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised by this game! If you enjoy puzzle games and can handle retro style graphics it is an excellent pickup, especially for the price it is offered at! Enjoyed it so much I ended up playing the entire thing in one sitting! What to know going in: - A 100% playthrough (3-starring maps) will run you roughly 5-7 hours - You aren't punished for spending seeds, so don't be afraid to if you need to! No achievement or bonus for not spending them on checkpoints, hints, or the shop upgrade. - Game works with a controller but seems to only register stick movement, so no d-pad inputs. - WASD, Arrows, Controller (xbox in my case), and even mouse all work for inputs. - The game starts off simple, but got to a point we had to bust out a whiteboard to plot out our movements! - 3-9 collectively kicked my and my chat's butts for an hour straight, WELL DONE!
