About Chromapix
This is an extremely relaxing pixel art game.
We have carefully prepared more than 100 levels for you, and each level is a pixel art. These levels can be played repeatedly, and every time you replay them, the content of the levels will be regenerated, bringing you a brand-new coloring experience.
The operation is simple. Press and hold the mouse to draw a rectangular area. If there is only one number within the area and the number of grids in the area is equal to the number, the filling can be completed.
When you encounter difficulties, you can click the button on the upper right for hints. Also, you can click the button on the lower left to clear all the currently filled areas and refill them.

Chromapix is a casual and enjoyable logic puzzle game with a solid amount of content that can provide 10-15 hours of gameplay for players of all skill levels. However, multiple players report that the achievement system has been broken for over a year with no fixes from the developers, making it impossible to earn most of the game's achievements despite completing the puzzles.
Chromapix is a really cool logic puzzle game made by the talented husband and wife team at Catnip Studio (they're games are all super creative!). In their latest game, they invite players to dive into a world of colors and patterns. The gameplay is a color version of the classic Shikaku or Rectangles puzzle, it adds a fresh twist to the genre, offering a casual gaming experience for players of all skill levels. The goal is to divide the grid into rectangular and squares, so each section holds the amount allocated by that number. This area must accurately represent the the rectangle or square it fills. To do this, you just click and drag to form rectangles and squares inside the grid (while keeping the area rules in mind). However, it’s important to pay attention to the size of each section, because that will determine if you’ve solved the puzzle correctly. Although it might seem easy at first, it can get tricky as you progress. There are many different colors, and when it's finished, you'll be rewarded with a picture! The game's single graphic resolution makes sure that the visuals are consistent and the resizable window mode lets players adjust their view (which is great!). Be…4 found this helpful
While this game is cute, fun and sometimes tedious, the achievements have been broken for over a year. There are posts in discussions informing the devs about this issue and it has yet to be fixed. If getting achievements for your work, time and effort are important to you, DON'T BUY THIS GAME. Saying it has achievements one can acquire is a joke. It's a shame because it's not a bad game. But the achievements are broken and the devs aren't fixing the problem. If they fix it, I'll update this review. Hopefully that will happen soon.1 found this helpful
On cnpuzzle website, it's referred to as "shikaku", a paper-and-pencil logic puzzle where a large grid is divided into many smaller blocks, with relatively low difficulty. As mentioned in a previous Chinese user's comment, there's an problem with achievements — I only get 4/9 achievements after completing the game, meaning 5 out of 9 achievements remain inaccessible. As a result, I had to resort to using Steam++ to unlock them. The con is that there's a substantial amount of puzzles, allowing for 10-15 hours of gameplay, excluding about me 5 hours spent sleeping
