its a pretty fun game, while maybe a bit on the short side the gameplay is pretty good overall2 found this helpful
The game dev has decided to have gender based 'classes' as he called it where women are an agility/speed class, and men are the 'equipment' class. What this results in is women do not have access to basic equipment, This results in women being useless as soldiers in game, as the male class can do everything the female class can do + a lot extra, and there is no unique gameplay or mechanics to the female class, just removed mechanics. The women in this game are weaker than actual real world female child soldiers, and it is a nerf if you end up with one on your team. Previous games had the classes be actual classes, ex: medic/engineer and what not that had actual unique mechanics and stuff. This one the 'classes' are just 'haha bad luck you rolled a woman'. Other than that the gameplay is in line with previous games. Just worse actual gameplay due to aforementioned class issues, but better resource management.2 found this helpful
One of best Zombie survival games.2 found this helpful
This is a great Lovecraftian horror, the devs were able to blend survival horror mechanics with RTS and RPG elements. If you like resource management games, Pixel graphics, Top down viewpoint along with survival horror and set in a Lovecraftian universe it's worth checking out. Is the game perfect? No but I could find flaws in anything if I look hard enough, there was nothing that makes the game unplayable.1 found this helpful
I found it boring. Even the tutorial already felt more like a chore than a game. Not for me.
A bit like Strain Tactics in some respects, but a lot of base management and character building stuff as well. The combats themselves are relatively shallow, but you are never JUST trying to fight (except during boss battles) so the overall experience is pretty dynamic.
