genuinely peak, EVERYTHING about this game is good, it's just..... i suck at this and im stuck on one of the parts, otherwise.. yeah it's peak. play endoparasitic 1 too btw
Sometimes, you're given the exact amount of bullets to kill all enemies, so if you miss a headshot or bodyshot by accident, you'll have no choice but load another save where you didn't mess up Now it could be that I'm just bad at videogames... but bullets being a resource that you need to account for doesn't seem to work that well here at least until you get access to other ways to get bullets ignoring all of that and the fact that i haven't beaten the game yet, it's a pretty cool experience 9.1/10
very fun game, makes me actually have to use my brain, there is a lot of trial and error involved so make sure to use saves, ripped off my limbs except my right arm irl to immerse myself in the experience
resources are too scarce. i keep got soft-locked out because cant get through a section, because i cant craft ammo in time for this little arm i dashed past (because i don't have a single bullet to my name) killed me.
i preferred the simplicity of the first one, but at the same time having just a direct copy from the first game would be boring wouldnt it? the gameplay curve felt vert strange to me. in the early levels i was struggling to scrounge enough ammo to survive and got hard stuck on one level which was very frustrating to me. but after picking the game back up and beating that one level, the ammo economy kinda flooded and i had no problem making piles and piles of bullets. once again, knocked it out of the park stylistically, and the improved soundtrack was also very much appreciated. looking forward to beating it all again on hard mode (even though i know it will be more frustrating)
