There is something deeply cathartic about job sims. The idea of getting lost in something rote where your mind can wander while your hands stay busy is a pleasant one, and I always look forward to the next job sim on my list. I want to have these quiet moments, puttering through a city, with no obligations but those which I have imposed upon myself. The problem is, I pulled up City Bus Simulator 2024, the absolute madlad of driving job sims. You play as a faceless, voiceless bus driver, driving a bus through the streets of “New York,” picking up passengers, and shuttling everyone safely to their destinations. Do not buy at this time this game is really bad its unplayable, unfinished and under tested.

Just to say thanks for the game I love the main menu and just wishing there was wheel support

I was provided a copy of this game through the Steam Curator Connect program, and I'm honestly not sure why. I've seen worse gameplay loops, but this game looks bland. It has very obvious model pop-in (you can watch the trees inflate into existence) the NPC passenger models are vacant-eyed uncanny valley material, and I've heard talk that there are undisclosed AI assets in the game- the NPC voices sound like and the player portrait options certainly look like they could be. The music sounds like focus-grouped corpo slop they use as a placeholder on a new smartphone. Plus the steering feels off. It's not worth your time. I question whether any of these "X Simulator" titled games are, actually.

this is a good game needs to be fixing the glitches and also have bus sounds louder so we can here the engine looking forward to the free DLCs wen thay come out

On the main menu, it won't let me drive any routes and buses. I will be getting this refunded.
