City Transport Simulator 2026

This game is a massive step up from the previous iteration of CTS. The Good: 1. Love the buses in this game. The physics and the sounds really do add to the immersion of this game and make things a lot more realistic. 2. Love the friendly interactions that you have with your drivers whilst you are driving a bus route. It does really add realism to the game, as that is what drivers do in the real world. 3. The game also does look really good too. 4. Yesterday's update (at the time of posting this) is really good. Option to skip out stops and make more direct routes is a massive win in my book. It has allowed me to free up space at bus stops along my route, which can easily get overcrowded by other routes. However, I do have some problems with this game, The Bad: 1. My biggest gripe is the navigation system. Right now, there are arrows on the floor which help guide you to the next bus stop en route. However, I do not like the fact that when I change my destination display on my bus, that the navigation system doesn't update at all. This really does kill the immersion and weakens the realism a fair bit for me. That is really the only serious gripe I have…

Tolles Spiel! Macht sehr viel Freude

Absolutely not playable. can't get more than 31 FPS no matter what, playing on a high end gaming PC.. its a shame as the game itself its cool and could be something big but it seems like developers are not really fussed about it. not to say that for a game with so many problems, its expensive. DLC's are expensive, and can't really do much without them.. so yeah.. its a shame.. overall I'd say 4/10... maybe they will actually get to do some work on this in the future.

Honestly I can't quite figure out the developers' logic behind the monetisation of this franchise. Originally I bought CTS 2025 and was very satisfied with my purchase. Then the MAN Lion's City 12 and 18 came along for 20 bucks and that's where I started thinking if I should invest more money in the game after buying the full game - the answer was no. Then they came out with CTS 2026. My initial reaction? "Great another purchase I wanna make that's gonna be absurd". Thankfully they gave it for free to CTS 2025 owners. Needless to say, the game is not worth it. The graphics are okay, the sounds are fantastic, the buses look good but it's just not a substantial difference compared to CTS 2025. Also, the updates feel like they're becoming really lazy... Just make a couple new buses, one new city and charge 50 bucks for the expansion. I don't really appreciate them adding new bus DLCs that you have to pay for. To someone who is contemplating whether they should buy this game, I would suggest buying the base game if you really like the - limiting - gameplay loop and the very limited bus fleet. Otherwise, opt for something else!

** DEVS PLEASE READ** I've tried many, and I mean MANY simulator games ranging from Train to Bus to Flight Sim. As for Bus simulator and Tram goes, THIS IS IT! The physics, the interactions of the pedestrians, the ticketing system; it's amazing to play. I find myself roleplaying better with this version of City Transport Simulator. I did try the one before this, but the devs definately took some things into consideration. I love the braking system of the vehicles. The retarder on the bus and the slow down on the tram (which its previous game did not have), it makes it alot more better than just jerking the vehicle back and forth. An idea to increase the game immersion is improving the Pedestrians. Such as, including an animation to tapping their phone on the ticket system to pay contactless, actually LOOKING at the Bus Driver (You), and maybe a people events such as falling asleep on the bus and you have to wake them up at the last stop. OVERALL, I love this game, buying the Expert Edition is WORTH IT! PLEASE don't abandon this game, just keep updating it and adding stuff.
