COLDSNAP has a wide variety of ways to play the game, fight robots, and scream at the top of your lungs that you're getting jumped. I love the different ways to play, like a tank who holds their ground and gets stronger the lower hp they get, or a swift ninja who dashes around their targets, executing any robot who looks at S.N.A.P for too long. The idea of different objectives, and killing robots on them, makes for interesting gameplay, unique events, and creative combat. The skills in the menus offer innovative gameplay, with each run being better than the last. The art style on top of everything I just described tops this game off as a imaginative and artistic. The gameplay loop is fun. I like the concept of charging up the generators by damaging enemies, and the upgrade system is very fast paced and adds a lot to the combat. One part that I do find frustrating though is the AI on some of the enemies is not that great. There were many moments were I needed to charge my generators and no robots were spawning within the dome, so I had to run around to try and lure them inside, but they weren't following me all the time. Other than that, it's a fun game with a visually appealing art style that I see a lot of potential in.1 found this helpful
