Levels range from endless to challenging mode; you can play this game forever. Plus, it has achievements, leaderboards, and even options about the game style as you progress. Simple, but very well-made. Thank you, developer, I will definitely keep playing this for hours to wind down.

Color Connect is one of those simple puzzle games that I ended up playing for longer than I expected. The idea is extremely straightforward, since I am connecting dots of the same color to build longer chains and earn more points. I liked how quickly I can understand everything, while still having enough room to think about the best possible connection instead of just clicking randomly. The main gameplay revolves around drawing lines between matching colored dots in any direction. Longer connections give me more points, while chaining moves together can create combos and push my score even higher. I enjoyed the way this turns a very basic mechanic into something a little more strategic. I am constantly looking at the board and deciding whether I should take an easy connection now or wait for a better opportunity. The randomly generated levels are another feature I really appreciate. I cannot simply memorize a fixed series of puzzles, so every new run gives me a different arrangement to work with. That helps the game feel more replayable than a traditional puzzle pack. I also like that the controls are just click and drag, because there is nothing getting between me and the puzzle…

Relaxing little game. Lots of variations on play; timed, challenge, free play. All good things in a free game.

This is a wonderfully simple game. Especially nice to just vibe with while listening to music or watching videos. The stars are my favorite grid shape.
