Warning: Asset Flip!
Connect the Dots is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", beans rolls, took the Flow Free tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, bupisource.com, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. beans rolls has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. At first glance, the game appears extremely simple, asking players to connect pairs of matching colored dots on a grid. However, as the levels become more complex, the challenge shifts from merely drawing lines to carefully planning routes and managing limited space. The result is a relaxing yet surprisingly engaging puzzle game that focuses entirely on logic and problem-solving rather than flashy presentation. The main objective is easy to understand. Players must connect dots of the same color while ensuring that the paths never overlap or cross one another. This accessibility is one of the game's biggest strengths. New players can jump in immediately without needing tutorials or extensive explanations, while puzzle enthusiasts will appreciate how quickly the difficulty increases. What begins as a casual exercise soon develops into a series of increasingly demanding brainteasers that require patience, foresight, and careful observation. A major highlight of the game is the amount of content packed into its minimalist …
A fairly basic but fun enough puzzle game for a dollar. Thou, if you are reading this devs, maybe look into royalty free music like the work of Kevin MacLeod, rather then taking one of Mass Effects more memorable tracks.
