It's one of those hidden gems, you know? It's just plain good. If you like shmups, it's an easy pick. If you haven't played a shmup yet, it's a very good start because it has many difficulty settings and even a Practice mode for you to train bosses without the risk of running out of lives. It features a classic arcade mode where you play 5 levels back to back (it doesn't save in between, you have to finish all 5 in the same run), it has limited lives and credits if you lose all lives. But it's also kind of a roguelike with its Labyrinth mode, which features a randomly generated campaign! I've only sank in 4 hours and can't wait to unlock more modes, characters and try everything the game has to offer. It's such a shame this game hasn't received much attention :/1 found this helpful
Really cool, visually stunning, and has a lot of amazing patterns. A lot of fun for the time I played. It's really neat just exploring around and facing bosses, though truthfully it started to get very samey for how many times the game expects you to do arcade mode. I ended up tapping out trying to do the very hard mode, I think it ends up tipping over to far too hard to manage with very unpredictable enemies and bosses. Sometimes it felt like I didn't really have a way to get out of situations without the fully upgraded moveset, which may be by design but when you have to refight bosses without any powerups it started repeating over and over. Each character has a lot of positives and negatives so usually you can just try another one but it did end up annoying sometimes. Ultimately I had a lot of fun playing normal and hard mode so I don't think it's too fair to have the highest difficulty drag that down for me. It's not a game I ever see myself going 100% for (there is so much things to do for that), but playing it for around 8 hours I felt satisfied.1 found this helpful
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome
One of the best hidden gems out there. Wow, this game just feels sooo incredibly good to play! Plus it rewards you playing good with a ranking system at the end of each level. You get boosts for taking no damage and also for doing each room in a specific time or less. It feels a lot like another one of my favorite games of this genre called Straimium Immortaly and I am having a hard time choosing which one is better.
A short and sweet bullet hell with handcrafted encounters, a challenge mdoe and a semirandom mode Art and sound designs is good Especially very fun in 2p coop where I notably really appreciate you respawn on every screen in a safe zone while other bullet heavy games tend to overlook that kind of thing. The game is very short (1h to beat in coop +-) but the difficulty levels are very well crafted and warrant at least one replay as they change bullet patterns drastically. Speaking of bullet patterns, they are surprisingly fair, especially with the addition of a generous but mandatory iframe dash which makes it just right in terms of difficulty for a somewhat casual audience on easy/normal mode, while hard is a valid challenge afterwards.
I enjoyed my time with it, overall solid gameplay that can require some quick thinking! The cute art and good music are the cherry on top. If you're a fan of arcade style games with some bullet-hell flair, then you'll love this game!
