Compass of Destiny: Survivors

What a total joke. One of the worst games I have ever played. Its still the demo even though you bought it. No chance to live because 300 enemies who have huge hit boxes kill you immediately. Its hard to get any weapons or spells at all because the dev thought it would be funny to watch paying players die over and over. I will rebuy the game and change my review to positive if the dev does the following: Get rid of half the enemies on the screen and the arrow men till later on. Get a meta progress system up. Right now there is only 3 areas that all look the same just reskinned and they all say infinite. There is nothing to earn, or look forward to. Not a single thing to do other than run from all the enemies who are over powered and wait for them to hit you. They have this ridiculous long reach and the hero in the game, has to make a full stop and wait to do any action. This game is a mess and i think it should be taken off Steam till he has made it into a real game. Just shameful nowadays that devs can sell these scam games here and not get booted from the platform.

Compass of Destiny: Survivors is a pretty straightforward survivors style game, but I liked the way it uses the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul to give the usual formula a bit of its own identity. It is built around surviving increasingly dangerous waves of enemies while moving through large areas and collecting enough power to keep up with the difficulty. I did not expect anything hugely complicated from it, but I found the basic loop quite enjoyable when I wanted something simple and action focused. The combat is definitely the main attraction for me. Enemies keep coming from all directions and I have to keep moving while trying to deal with the growing crowds. The longer I survive, the more dangerous things become, so I cannot just rely on the same approach forever. I liked having to watch where I was going while also keeping an eye on the enemies around me, especially when the arena started getting crowded. The upgrade system gives each run some useful progression. Between waves I can pick up equipment, improve abilities and gain different powers that help me survive for longer.
