Interactions between items and triggerpoints are not clear whatsoever, rooms that have been given the "complete" sign can still contain necessary items for completion, and what is interactable is very difficult to parse visually without using the hint system. Additionally, the game ends without resolving the story or providing meaningful reward for reaching the end. Nice art, neat idea, not really a video game. Would be far better as a picture book.

Confusing, disconnected and very obtuse gameplay. "Continues on Part 2", game released on 2023 and there is 0 news nor updates yet. The only good thing about this game is the artwork and the ambient sound.

Beautiful artwork, but some puzzles are very hard to see due to very small objects. Maybe the developer made this on a very large, high resolution screen and didn't test it on a smaller laptop screen. Lot of potential here, but refunded. I also read that this is only part 1, and there isn't a part 2.

Simply, Conquistadorio isn't a very well-designed Point & Click. Most of the puzzles rely on fairly esoteric logic or hunting down items that aren't visually distinct from the background. The pacing is poor - There's no way to accelerate or skip travel nor the repeated flashback/storytelling moments that are replayed several times. Assistance to make up for the poor puzzle design (or more-so, poor solution design) is also not good - You can highlight a single interactable object at a time, often not even the one you need to interact with, or play a minigame to access a step-by-step guide for the current screen. This minigame is the same for every single screen, but must be replayed each time. The advertisement of the game on the store page seems frankly inaccurate - Your coffin does not disappear, it isn't even the primary macguffin you're looking for, and the "no long and boring dialogues" is only technically accurate - Instead it's long and boring pictograms. They're charming at first, but like the flash-back cutscenes, they are repeated quite frequently. The art style is nice, the story is funny, the puzzles are hard and not intuitive, and it is unfinished. Wait for sale.

I didn’t dislike the game. It had an interesting style to it but I never had a clue what i was expected to do or how i was supposed to do it so it turned into “take every item and click it everywhere” for me. I haven’t been this frustrated since the police quest point click games in the early 90s. So maybe I did dislike this game but at least this one had a more interesting style than police quest.
