Quest for Conquest

Its kinda fun esp. for the price but it realy needs some permanent upgrades so that when you die and restart, you keep some of your gold for example or you can select one resource to keep or something like that because its realy frustrating to lose just because you got dealt a bad hand and then restart from absolute 0... Still, for the price its a decent little timewaster and I hope it will get that imrpovement...

Interesting game, enjoyed the concepts and was looking forward to a great management/adventure experience. Falls a little flat in terms of mechanics, a little too simple to just add or upgrade units when you see one battle, and you've seen them all. I think the fact that the map and encounters aren't procedurally generated is a big sticking point. I expected to see something different every run, and the "choosable" paths that are the same every time make for a lackluster experience when coupled with the mediocre combat. Decent game, would be a great game if more depth and polish was given to combat as a whole, and the nature/implementation of the overworld map. If more work is done into elements such as these, and it becomes a more robust gaming experience, absolutely worth $5.

Игра "Quest for Conquest" оказалась приятным сюрпризом. С первого взгляда непритязательная графика скрывает за собой увлекательный геймплей, затягивающий на долгие часы. Стратегическая глубина присутствует, но не подавляет, делая игру доступной даже для новичков жанра. Порадовала система развития героя и разнообразие юнитов, позволяющая экспериментировать с тактиками и находить собственные победные стратегии. Сюжет не то чтобы выдающийся, но вполне себе добротный и служит хорошим фоном для баталий. Немного огорчает некоторая однообразность карт и ограниченный набор миссий, но это компенсируется реиграбельностью благодаря разным классам персонажей и возможностью пройти игру с разными стилями игры. Отдельно стоит отметить отсутствие доната, что в наше время большая редкость и несомненый плюс в карму разработчиков. В целом, "Quest for Conquest" - это крепкая, качественно сделанная стратегия, которая способна подарить массу положительных эмоций любителям жанра. Рекомендую к ознакомлению!
