After spending more time with Copa City, I can clearly see that the developers have fixed most of the interface issues and improved the overall stability of campaign missions. What impressed me the most: -is the whole system of dynamically managing fan zones and city streets. It constantly forces you to react to the behavior of thousands of fans, which makes the gameplay feel much more engaging and realistic. Big pluses after the updates: -campaign tasks now progress much more smoothly in Warsaw and Berlin -interactions between modules around the stadium feel more polished, -the maintenance costs of different zones are better balanced -the game feels much more stable overall In my opinion, the developers deserve a lot of credit for the recent updates. Copa City now works the way it should have from the start. I can honestly recommend this game. If you enjoy logistics-based strategy games and football themes, this is a perfect moment to give it a chance.2 found this helpful
One of the best football management games focused on organizing match days, fan zones, supporters and stadium operations. I really like the visual presentation. At first glance the game looks fairly simple, but once you start playing you realize it has a lot of depth and can be surprisingly challenging. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys football management games. I didn’t expect it to be this engaging, but it pleasantly surprised me. I’m also curious to see how the gameplay differs in the other cities, because from what I’ve seen each one has been designed differently. I assume that means every location offers a slightly different gameplay experience as well. I also noticed that the game has official licenses for these clubs: Bayern Munchen Arsenal Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Borussia Dortmund Besiktas Olympique de Marseille
**Not Recommended — Plenty of Potential, but Currently Boring** COPA CITY has a genuinely interesting concept and plenty of potential, but unfortunately the actual gameplay is far too slow and repetitive. The tutorial drags on and does very little to make the game feel exciting. Even after getting through it, the gameplay continues to move at a painfully slow pace, with many tasks feeling like the same routine repeated over and over again. The dialogue does not help either. One of the main characters constantly comes across as unnecessarily argumentative and irritating, which made the experience more frustrating than engaging. There is definitely a good game hidden somewhere here, especially with such a unique football-management concept. However, in its current state, it feels boring, repetitive and lacking in momentum. It needs faster pacing, more variety and more likeable characters.
My campaign is bugged on the 2nd tutorial mission where you need to destroy any item that you've placed. Well, the game will not destroy anything at all. no matter how many times i reload the game and click the demolish button, it does nothing. and i literally can not progress because of it. Capitalism tag is befitting for this game. Devs rushed it out knowing it was not ready, but they needed that money.
One of the best football and management games I have ever played. I really like the atmosphere of the game. I can see that the developers are still updating the game and adding new things. Keep my fingers crossed that they will add even more new clubs and licences, but there is already a lot of them. The tutorial helped me to understand everything, because there is many options and different tasks you need to be responsible for. It is a game where you really have to plan and prepare everything well. You can really feel the responsibility of organising a match and such a big event. I can even imagine how it would be if I was managing the organisation of a real match, or even the Champions League :)
I really like the game, especially its atmosphere. The fans play a huge role in creating it and I like the way they react to the changes and improvements we introduce. I can see that the developers are regularly releasing updates and fixing individual bugs. At one point I even saw a negative number of days left, lol, but they fixed it and everything works properly now. Stadium management also feels smoother so it seems like the developers are listening to player feedback. I really enjoy the campaign and the way the game makes you feel responsible for organizing the match. Warsaw and its districts have been recreated brilliantly. It genuinely puts a smile on my face, and I am curious to see what the other cities look like. The tutorial is definitely useful because I get a little lost without it. The game requires some thinking which makes it even more engaging.
