Designer's note
Hi everyone, this is Chris Hart, maker of CoronaWhomp! Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you have fun playing. In our house, our standard way to play is with two people on one computer. A grown up relaxes in a chair and controls the base. A child stands and operates the whompers and the cannons. About 15 minutes of whomping every other day or so seems to help chase away some of the current blues. Please let me know what you think of the game, and thanks for whomping!

"CoronaWhomp!" is a rather low quality game trying to cash in a bit on the Coronavirus pandemic, which is pretty uncool if you ask me. I don't have a lot of respect for single issue/meme games like this. They tend to do a disservice to both gaming and the issue they're lambasting. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. Free game & paid dlc; proceeds go to charity. Try to not let viruses in your hole, maybe get some "Whomp"-ed by concrete pillars, although the lasers seem more helpful. More luck than skill IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSSXYCqNMYw2 found this helpful
Before I played CoronaWhomp!, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
You can literally win first level by idling. Of course, not every time, but it is possible... Classical mistake of missing leading zeroes in timer, for second counter... Quickly made low quality game.
