A bit unpolished, but got good potential

Coryphaeus Championships takes an uncommon approach to the competitive card-game genre by placing strategic ability ahead of collection size, spending, and unpredictable luck. Developed and published by Coryphaeus Corp, it is structured as a free-to-play competitive experience where players are given broad access to the gameplay cards required to build their strategies. Rather than making the acquisition of increasingly powerful cards the main form of progression, the game encourages players to improve through experimentation, matchup knowledge, careful planning, and a deeper understanding of its interconnected mechanics. One of its defining ideas is the emphasis on deterministic competition and perfect information. Randomness is deliberately reduced so that matches depend heavily on decisions made by the two opponents. This changes the character of each battle considerably. Players cannot simply hope that an unexpectedly favorable event will compensate for a poorly considered move. I'm sorry. I mean, it's not a BAD game. And it's free so it can't hurt to try it, I guess. I just can't wrap my head around it and honestly, I just really didn't have fun playing it. But, maybe that's a me thing

I absolutely enjoy Coryphaeus Championships! Breaking new ground in the card game genre! We all have an equal chance at winning, there is no pay to win here. There are many ways to battle it out and find your win condition. I love the artwork, animations, finding fun card combos, and actually relying on skill and my wits to win instead of random blind luck. PLEASE give this game a try, it is well worth it and will cost you nothing. Have fun and lets get to battling!
