About Costa Verde Transport Department
A new city is emerging on the vibrant shores of Costa Verde, but the citizens need help: someone must build the roads for them! Luckily, they have you: the head of the city's Transport Department. The growing city expands in all directions, people drive from home to work and back, industrial trucks transport resources between manufacturers, and you have to carefully plan the road network for the city!
The main gameplay consists of planning & building a road network for the growing city. You have to carefully plan the roads to balance the city traffic and obtain valuable resources that help you progress. Sooner or later your roads won't be enough: you'll have to build detours, roundabouts, bridges, and use some magic!

Man, I really wanted to be able to recommend this one. There are elements here that I enjoy such as the charming, calming aesthetics (reminds me of Islanders) and I like the random elements to the maps. It's very fun in the beginning but then quickly starts to go downhill. There are several problems that are cutting short my play session though which, if resolved, would probably keep me coming back to this game for hours and hours, so I feel like there is a worthy game to continue building off of should the developer decide to keep updating: -this game is very difficult. I only ever played on easy difficulty and I felt like my city was crashing and burning in a matter of minutes and not getting close to populating even a quarter of the build area -I want more tools for diagnosing the problems. It seems there are some correlations with the farms areas not causing a ton of traffic but the houses/cities are, but that's just by observation. Maybe some stats on what the tiles actually do once they are on the map would be helpful. or figuring out where trips from that tile want to go -it's also difficult that development sprouts up wherever a road is, there isn't any way to just build …3 found this helpful
The game loop is solid; however, I expected much more tools from a transport department game. Are there seriously [b]no traffic lights[/b]? [b]No traffic signs[/b]? And what the hell is this "magic" that disabled hitboxes in a particular tile? [b]The highways are poorly implemented.[/b] The tutorial says, [i]"It's tricky, but you will figure it out"[/i]? I tried for 15 minutes, but I must be dumb because I don't understand how they work. This game does not feel like a traffic management game.3 found this helpful
It's a cool idea and has potential but I had a lot of trouble surviving for long. I couldn't get highways to work effectively and even when I tried using the triangle method for roads...I still lost quickly. I also noticed that I spent most of my time speeding up the game because I had to wait for new segments a lot.2 found this helpful
Great little game by a single developer
It is a great fun puzzel game with lots of potential for future updates. The current version runs stable and the controls are intuitive. Nice concept and lovely graphics.
It took a few minutes but I finally got it, think of this game more like a puzzle game (Mini Metros) rather than a simulation of any kind and you will enjoy it
