About Creature Hunt
Creature Hunt is a combination of a survival horror and a hunting simulator. According to some articles in the local press, a few days ago several bodies of dead tourists were found in the woods of North Carolina. And yesterday, another tourist said that he had seen a beast there, and it had had nothing in common with any of the known species. You are supposed to play as the sister of one of those who were killed.

I was in denial of the creature existing for longer than I'd like to admit, and even when I had proof, I doubted the possibility to complete the game. Eventually though, I returned to try one more time. Through strategic camera placements, ambiance triangulating, and direction predicting, I was able to develop a consistent strategy to locate and hunt down the Creature. Anyone who says there is no creature has unknowingly admitted to not putting in the time and brain power to locate such an elusive creature. It takes a dedicated player to beat this game. If you don't have dedication, then creature don't want you in his forest. Overall a very fun and challenging adventure, would recommend to anyone looking for a game8 found this helpful
EDIT: There is a monster. I won't give too much away, but it is indeed out there. It has nothing to do with the foxes, but doesn't seem to like you placing cameras. Search for his boss music. Good hunting. This one was certainly interesting and creepy. You start out at home, loading up on weapons, ammo, cameras and first aid kits. You hear the creature, which sounds like a fox crossed with a cougar, as you stock up. You can then drive, walk or jog around the map, placing cameras and being on the alert for the creature. There is one NPC, a lot of foxes, and one monster. I think I hit every location, and I heard a man scream like he was being murdered once. I ran towards the screams, and even ran towards the creature's howls. I couldn't find the creature on repeated hunts, but there's really no guidance as to where to put cameras. At locations? Between places? You get a flashlight, and the truck eventually runs out of gas. But there is a fox. Who shocked me so much I barely got a screenshot. So, if you can get it on sale for say, $1.49 USD or less, it's kinda worth a spin if you want to explore the map. At first I was almost inclined to believe the naysayers in the review section below that there actually was no creature in the game. However, I have full trust in the Bigfoot Forest developer and knew this would not be the case. Sure enough, 72 minutes later I was able to successfully find and kill the creature which is really scary. I highly recommend this game if you like open-ended games and exploration. I counted at least 30 unique locations you can visit all with special hidden treasures to find. Your car is your most valuable asset, I would recommend coming up with a name for him/her quickly and get drviing. You can always stop at the gas station for more gas. Overall, this was another fantastic experience from the developer of hits such as Bigfoot Forest and At Home that have all become games my future children will play if I have any. Thanks and remember to leave steam awards for me, thanks.2 found this helpful
To all the comments saying there is no monster, there is. Though it never actually attacked me, i just kinda followed it around and killed it and this all took maybe 1 hour.2 found this helpful
Let me tell you a story. I was having a boring day when I decided to play creature hunt and when I opened I knew it would be good. At some point when playing I had to go to the bathroom and the reviews made it seem like there was no monster in the game. But when I came back I had died. I then went on a hunt for whatever this creature was using the car to get around quickly and eventually I found it hiding in a church where I shot it repeatedly until died. Then I entered the second level which I have yet to play but soon I will. Overall Rating: 10 out of 51 found this helpful
