Creepy Forest

Creepy Forest is a 2D adventure horror puzzle. The gameplay is mostly consists in solving puzzles with a little of exploration of a story. It's a fully Chinese project so it has a lot of a local folkore. Puzzles are moderately difficult and the main complexity is in fact that some of puzzles have only Chinese localisation. The game was quite interesting until the moment I met the first problem. There was a possibility to cut the clothes which has a hint for a puzzle. I understood it only after when I cut it and as I forgot about a written symbol I tried to look it on a sliced cloth but there was no possibility to do it. So I had to start the game again because there's no option to save or play from the exact part. After I remade all puzzles and moved a little bit I met a bug. In a puzzle where the main hero is had to go into a wagon nothing happened. I tried to click on everything on a screen but nothing happened. I tried to exit and enter the wagon again but there was only repeating parts of text and no progress. So I was tired and decided to finish the game. Even tho translation to English is VERY questionable, anyone that loves puzzles should play this game. Warning: There are no walkthroughs or complete playthru videos out there on this game, but with some time, effort, and patience; you can figure out the puzzles. The artwork is pretty, creepy atmosphere, and nice music (some of which is copyrighted, so you will get muted for parts of your VODs if you stream on Twitch). I believe this game is comparable to The Rusty Lakes series as far as the puzzles and art go. Two thumbs up from me!

I want to like this game. I really do. I enjoy the sound design and the graphics, but if you don't know even a little bit of Chinese this game is almost unplayable. Sure, you can make guesses at the puzzles, but that's not fun when you're playing a puzzle game.
