About Crystal Tower Defense
In Crystal Tower Defense you stop an endless amount of crystal-type enemies from reaching the portal to Earth. To achieve this goal you can build your own labyrinth using turrets and walls as well as selling obstacles on the map. You will need to stay alert since the enemies grow stronger the longer you defend the portal. Upgrade your turrets and alter the labyrinths layout to adapt to the new challenges.
Enemies will follow the path YOU create! This challenges you to experiment with different labyrinth layouts. The map, with its randomly generated obstacles, will tickle your strategic thinking every time you jump into a run. Remove map obstacles to open up new possibilities during a run and restructure your labyrinth to use each of your turrets to its full potential.
As you progress through the stages, you can unlock 10 turrets.
You can upgrade each turret's main stats in a run. The required gold is earned through destroying the enemies.
Use 6 different abilities to support the turrets in your labyrinth and fend off the enmies.
Each enemy has a chance to drop crystals! These crystals are your primary currency and are used to unlock new and different turrets, as well as permanently upgrade them. Completing a stage rewards you with a big crystal that holds permanent upgrades for your turrets! You can equip these upgrades in the armory.
These big crystals can only be obtained playing the game. After each stage you get rewarded one big crystal. To claim them, you need to end your run manually, if you run out of lifes, you lose all your gathered rewards.
The higher the cleared stage is, the better are the rewards. The drop chance of each rarity, per stage, can be found in the menu.
The forge gives you the possibility of merging your hard-earned upgrades, to achieve bigger and better bonuses. Combine a multitude of possible items and find the best possible upgrade path!
Combining your upgrades always results in a better bonus. Combine multiple of the same, to decided the result type.

✦ AI summary
Players praise the tower defense game's unique path-building mechanics and strategic depth, with fans appreciating the ability to control enemy routes and unlock tower upgrades. However, the game suffers from pacing issues—early progression is painfully slow and grinds, with underpowered weapons creating frustration before the game becomes engaging, while late-game content becomes too easy and repetitive, lacking challenge or excitement at higher levels.
This is one of the first tower defense games that provided an ability to control the path of enemies. If you lose focus and make a mistake on the path, you will likely lose. I have learned that it is better, early game, to leave the game early and reap the rewards then trying to continue to level. This is a game of patients and strategy.2 found this helpful
It is a decent game in a sub-genre of tower defense where the path and locations of turrets are flexible. The game has fields with existing barriers between the in-gate and the tower you are defending. You can put additional barriers at a low price in-between to extend the path and then put your turrets making it for interesting strategies. The graphics are rudimentary; adequate but not attractive. I like good graphics in any game, as it buoys your spirits. The gameplay progresses slowly and has somewhat more than average tedium. That is, there isn't a lot of excitement in the beginning. There are innovations that are unique and so it may be worth a try by die-hard TD fans (6/10).1 found this helpful
Very cute game, but the progress is really bizarre. The guns simply aren't strong enough to finish an easy level. The progress is WAY TOO SLOW. It has mega potential. They just need to ease back on the smack down for at least 20 levels. We're paying for fun, not an ass whoopin. I can't believe I'm saying this, but they should offer money upgrades. I would be glad to buy a currency that would augment my weapons earlier. I don't have a lot of time to play a game to get it to "fun" level, so I'm willing to pay to make up the difference. Right now, can't recommend, but I could see that changing with one upgrade mod.1 found this helpful
Early on this game made me wonder WTF? and I quit. Gave it a second chance and happy I did. Once you get past some initial learning curve and such, there's a really good game here.
super cool :) really diggin it
Great little tower defense game. Not perfect but fun trying to unlock new cards to upgrade towers!
