About Cube Hero Odyssey
Cube Hero Odyssey is a hack-and-slash, monster slaying roguelite, where you play as a caped hero wielding his trusty anti-fragile blade.
Dive into combat with a myriad of creative build paths with skills and passive abilities!
Each playthrough promises a new experience as the world of Celestia is beautifully shown in colourful & stylish procedurally generated maps!

Standard roguelites may have combat that feels closer to bullet hell, where your abilities can wipe out entire waves of minor enemies.
In Cube Hero Odyssey, combat is slow and methodical; each enemy can present a challenge to overcome!
Master dodging, attack with precise timing, and make strategic use of your skills as even a single enemy could take you down!

Each round features a uniquely designed environment, complete with varying hurdles and enemies lurking! From gentle greenery to fierce lava landscapes, explore to guarantee you claim all your loot!
Every few rounds, go head-to-head against colossal beasts, and test your might! Be careful with these giants... Or you'll be defeated in the blink of an eye!
Experiment with diverse builds and unlock powerful skills, tailoring your caped hero to your gameplay style for various tactical advantages!
The game provides 3 types of modifications, called Mods: Skill Mods (active skills), Stat Mods (stat upgrades), and Effect Mods (passive effects) as well as a newly added feature called Bloodlines, where you choose from one of the many character archetypes to have a distinguished start with unique traits!
Dying is inevitable, and it'll put you back to round 1 where you can retry with your newly gained knowledge and practice. On top of that, you can craft a different build as you play to tackle your foes in a new way!

Cube Hero Odyssey caters to everyone who enjoys mastering combat systems and evolving their approach through inventive gameplay strategies! The game offers a rich blend of challenging encounters and creative build paths, ideal for players looking for an engaging roguelite experience in a colourful, cute cube-like world.
Paraverse Studio is a team of three. And this is our first foray into the roguelite genre. We are actively working on the game regularly.

I really don’t like it . The gameplay feels empty, the combat has no depth, and the overall design looks rushed. It gets boring fast and just isn’t worth the time or money.3 found this helpful
Hands down one of the worst games I have ever played. Death comes every few seconds because you can fall off ledges. But the dev has made it so that every time you attack, your character jumps forward with no way to stop, falling to his death. Oh and everything is permadeath. You lose all and save none in this game. No meta system or anything. SCAM game for $15 and a dev who shut down his Discord and vanished.1 found this helpful
The difficulty curve on this game is insanely bad. The meta progression is a joke - I played like 5 runs and the meta progression I gained was 1 attack power. For reference, you can get 5 attack power from the common chests. The audio is annoyingly unnecessary (it says "common loot found" every time you open a chest). The controls are ok, fall damage does like 25% of your max HP and it's incredibly easy to fall off of ledges. Your skills get interrupted with every hit, your roll ability sometimes gets interrupted by enemies hitting you.
It was actually challenging and fun. i didn't expect that when I saw the cute graphics
The game feels very clunky (bad hit boxes, sluggish dodge, very basic graphics, etc.) and there's no depth to the combat. I'm not sure why I need to register for an account before playing the game.
Just buggy as all get out.
