Cute Farmer Life

These are my FAVOURITE farming sims - No relationship tediousness, no running around for hours finding some specific thing or person, just farming and crafting and cosy. The art style is absolutely adorable, the sound design is relaxing and everything is perfectly straight forward. Not to mention the little goofy moments, they caught me off guard at first and had me giggling to myself. I can't lie, I do wish there were achievements, maybe for levelling things and the spirits etc, but I'm also not mad that there isn't because it meant I didn't feel pressured to get them, like in some other games. Even it being a short game! I love that! I can't stand spending days upon days in real life grinding sometimes, it often feels too much keep me in it so this length is spot on, too. 10/10, my favourite farm sim up to this point.

Short and sweet. One of the few farming games that is actually cozy (in my opinion) because I don't have to worry about getting lost while rushing towards a certain store before it closes since it's not going to be open tomorrow, as someone with no sense of time and direction irl. It's very straightforward and simple; the world is pretty small compared to the more popular farming sims out there and there isn't a laundry list of gameplay mechanics to keep in mind. I started getting into gaming very recently and I was able to finish this game in 5.4 hours. There isn't really that much to do and the assets are not all unique but the game is aware of this and makes fun of itself here and there. It doesn't try to take itself too seriously and that's the best part. The few self-deprecating humor and adult jokes might put some people off, but I personally think it's part of the game's charm. Some people might be disappointed by the lack of contents, but I think the ability to play this game without being burdened by hefty achievements and complicated gameplay is a W. It's short and sweet. It's only 4$ off sale and goes down to 1$ on sale so there's a lot worse you could do for the price. Only main criticism of the game is that there are only in-game achievements, no steam achievements which would be easy to add. If you enjoy somewhat grindy games that only take a few hours to beat you will enjoy this.

Fun idler. Not groundbreaking by any means but if you like incremental games this hits the spot.
