Overall it's a pretty nice game but it has some problems. In all the quests I have seen, it refers to an axe as ax, I dont know if its intentional, but it keeps bugging me. Sometimes when you open inventory and use wasd to move in it, your character moves as well. The log requeriments for quests are absolutely insane with how little you get, f.e. there is a quest to get 40 tier 4 (I think) wood, but I usually get 1-2 logs PER TREE, and like 1 tree a day! Its way too much, or the drop chances for logs are too low. I cut down all the trees on the map and they regenerate about 2-4 per day, usually only 1 or none are the trees I actually need (the highest tier I can get). IMO the smelting/plank making takes a bit too much time, but its not that bad. It would be great to have some more uses for coins, as right now you can only buy seeds and animals (+ animal feed) with it, and its 3 (seed) packs everyday (the amounts are fine but could be increasted a bit, because rn you can get like 5 seeds a day sometimes. The walking speed could be increased a bit, because it takes a lot of time to get to the village early game, and even with caves unlocked it still takes quite a while if you need to…16 found this helpful
If you catch this game on a sale, it's worth it if you're looking for a simple, basic farming sim. It's enjoyable enough where I plan to try to get all upgrades/explore the entire map. Pros: - The energy system is surprisingly punishing at the start, in a good way. You'll find yourself ecstatic if it's a "blueberry" day (tip - stockpile the "good" berries if you have extra energy in a day), and it feels wasteful to go to bed with even a single point of energy left. You're really incentivized to max out each day. - The game loop is enjoyable. Farm, tend animals, forage, sleep. - There are only 3 random seed packs available for purchase each day. It's fun to see what is available and you'll likely start stockpiling the good seeds. - Days can go by extremely quickly as there is no clock in-game. Once you have no energy left, all there is to do is end the day. I'm putting this as a pro because: there are plenty of farming sims out there with in-game time, which is great. But if you don't have a lot of time to play, this farming sim allows you to play for 10 minutes and get in 1-3 highly productive in-game days which I appreciate. - The actions and animation feel quick, snappy, and sat…2 found this helpful
