🔵 No Point A-to-B grind or fetch tasks, dive straight to the action.

THE WORLD

Year 2225. New York. The Sun has burned the oceans dry. The air is poisoned and no longer clean. Fresh water is a currency worth more than life, fought over with blood and bullets. Every day is a brutal fight, for just a little.Nations fell long ago, leaving towers of high-tech cities made of steel and circuits. Flesh replaced with metal, minds wired with code, to compete against nature, against AI, and against others just as desperate. And you've heard the stories. There’s a place. A hope, a dream. They call it, Cyborg City.

TORCH-SHAPED CYBORG CITY

Cyborg City is about 17 times the Statue of Liberty's height, with 7 Zones:🔵 Zone 0: The Cyborg City Council HQ, the nerve center where the City Ruler controls everything. The only place in the world where you can see green grass and trees, with water-flowing fountains.🔵 Zone 1: Residential area for citizens, with housing, schools, and hospitals, and luxurious residentials for VIP only.🔵 Zone 2: The Entertainment District, full of stadiums, a gladiator arena, malls, clubs, theaters, and restaurants.🔵 Zone 3: Manufacturing artificial water, food, and precious air—resources that citizens of Cyborg City have to pay for to live there.🔵 Zone 4: Titan Factories, where the city's most advanced cyborgs and weapon systems are created. 🔵 Zone 5: Medusa's Cathedral overlooks the Common Factories and Black Market, where secret deals take place.🔵 Zone 6: Under the Statue of Liberty's feet are a scrapyard and shipyard crawling with Iron Heads, surrounded by oil rigs and sewer systems.

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate Cyborg Dreams as a charming indie passion project with solid gameplay, praising its satisfying bullet-time mechanics, fast-paced third-person shooter action, excellent art style, and unbeatable price point. However, reviewers consistently note the game's brevity (around an hour of content), janky presentation, weak voice acting, and nonsensical story, though many find these rough edges part of its campy, B-movie charm rather than dealbreakers.

Worth the $2.18. This is obviously an amateur development of passion project, but Cyborg Dreams does not hide the fact they used assets. The extensive credits make sure to credit everyone and the developer message makes it clear that all this team wanted to do is successfully release and idea in the form of a game to the world. Janky and only about an hour's worth of content, it's quick fun with a neat skill system. Third person shooter with about one arena/wave level and four boss fights. The game would be awesome to see expanded and rebooted with a proper budget and bigger team. You really can feel that the team did the best they could with what they had - experience and access. If anything, just to reiterate, it's worth the $2 just to support people who want to make games and their own stories. Skip the demo, support aspiring development teams. Cheaper than a coffee tip.

This is a little known gem. I wasn't expecting much when I bought it, but the screen grabs looked really nice and I loved the art style. However, the game itself is genuinely awesome. A lot of care and effort has gone into this and I want as many people as possible to know about this fantastic game. Please, if you're reading this, give it a go and download the demo!!

Really fun, fast paced game. Glad they added controller support, that worked better form me (but I'm sure others prefer the WASD) Combining the bullet time with the different attacks is very satisfying, and makes for exciting game play. Price can't be beat - and even if twice as much, driving the flame-thrower tank would still be worth the price of admission, what a blast.

Very awesome game so far. I'm on episode 3, this boss is tough, but pretty cool. Graphics and sound is pretty dope. Game kind of remind me a bit of Max Payne and Gears Of War. Thumbs up from me so far. Cheers! https://youtu.be/nWwIkXFw6m4?si=x5HgSn3XdATIoWN0

I don't even know how or why this one was on my wishlist but after a few sips of whiskey and seeing the price, I went for it. I don't really like it, but I do recommend it lol. It's like a modern video game equivalent of a campy 80s movie. There's nothing good about it, but you still watch it anyway because what else are ya gonna do with it? The voice acting is dreadful and the story makes absolutely no sense, but yet I can't bring myself to look away. I wanna see how deep this dumpster fire goes! The visuals are amazing and the gameplay is solid, I'll give it that. For two bucks you can do a lot worse! It had me feeling a lot like the way I felt when I discovered Serious Sam for the first time. Fast paced, lots of action, nothing makes any sense, perfect! I'll give it a thumbs up, assuming it stays a two dollar game. If it were a 20 dollar game, I would say it needs some work to be worth it.
