Cycle Idle RPG

I will be updating this review as i continue playing the game I was never a huge fan of idle games, but i quite like this game in particular. Maybe thats why idle game genre fans don't like it as much. It has some minigames that i find somewhat fun, if not a bit repetitive, but i dont mind doing them and they are not even a hard requirement to progress in the game, but you will progress a bit slower if you don't want to actively participate in them When i reached the second island grind levels have skyrocketed, maybe i missed something on the first island, but i have gained max knowledge on 10 out of 14 enemies and the ones left are almost maxed out, i have also maxed out all but one of the gear items and i also have 15+ level plants, but the grind is still WAY slower than on the first island

This game is pretty good. Nothing about it is particularly mind blowing, but nothing about it has made me just want to quit immediately. It is an idle/incremental game with a few mini-games bolted onto it that starts off slow and only becomes slower and slower. The good: - The game is very upfront with information showing you predictions of what your idling will accomplish, and if you turn the game off and come back there is no limit to how much offline time you can spend. - The mini-games are entertaining for what they are, nothing to write home about, but I could see the card game being entertaining on its own if it were expanded. - The game stores multiple any resources you gain over time, and if something can run out it gives you a good bit of leeway to refill it. The bad: - While I am not a stickler for high fidelity graphics I wish this game would pick one style and go with it since it feels all over the place. You have very large very chunky pixel art monsters that look pretty decent on their own, but they are sitting on top much higher resolution backgrounds. The UI is no better with a pixel font on top of basic higher res buttons with icons that wouldn't look out…

Yo. I played this game for nearly 2 years off-and-on. Dang. You want: - Classes with elemental attacks, support spells, and passives? - Enemies with unique sprites and abilities? - A beastiary with stats and items to gain? - Crafting and item leveling? - Very basic gardening? - Multiple zones with reasons to return to? - A fleshed out collectible card game? - A bad story that's at least kinda cute? - Accessory crafting and empowering system? - Ability to level up affinity with deities? - Boss rush modes? It's wild this game is free.

Honestly its just fun. There is such a wild amount of sources for bonuses spanning across all the subsections that almost nothing becomes obsolete. Get your +25% here, your +35% there. Oh I need more berries to get a +25% over there. Bingo I got +75% Reagent Gain now across 3 systems. It rewards end up shifting across focuses so you dont end up having to do one thing exclusively to get all the rewards for one type of bonus. Need some kills for this one or (God) Favor for that one. My complaints are honestly few and many are nit-picky. Backgrounds and monster art dont aesthetically match. Sometimes the programmer uses strange wording or has small typos and wording isnt always identical for the same bonus. The few things that are obsolete tend to be a bit of a drag like earlier armors who provide only +#STR over +#STR% or similar are effectively just in the way. It makes sense for earlier Island and OverKnowledge but not so much with armors. Also a Search system would be nice but I understand the labor that would require. Something you can filter like "+#STR% Bonus" and it shows you X in Equipment, X in Worship, etc. Really if the aesthetics could be brought in line and a few obsoles…
