About Idle Knight
Idle Knight is an idle RPG where your character progresses as you use your PC.Every interaction matters, mouse clicks, keyboard inputs, controller actions. As long as you're using your computer, your knight is gaining XP.The game runs in the background and is designed to fit naturally into your daily routine.CORE IDEAThe concept is simple:You don’t actively grind the game. You progress by simply using your computer. At first, progression feels fast and rewarding.Over time, it slows down significantly. At that point, the game shifts from passive growth to decision-making and optimization.PROGRESSION SYSTEMEach input generates XP.Leveling up gives you stat points that define your character:- HP : your health and survivability - DMG : your damage output - AGI : determines evasion and action speed Your build directly affects how efficiently you progress and how well you perform in combat.BUILDS AND STRATEGYThere is no single correct build. You can focus on raw damage, survivability, or agility-based scaling. However, as difficulty increases, inefficient builds will slow your progress. This is where experimentation and optimization become important.RESETS AND FLEXIBILITYYou are not locked into your decisions.Special items, such as the Phoenix Feather, allow you to reset your stats while keeping your level. This lets you test different builds and adjust your strategy over time.DUNGEONSDungeons are structured challenges where you choose which one to enter based on its recommended level. Each dungeon has a difficulty rating, and selecting the right one is important for your progression.Once inside, you must climb through multiple floors, defeating enemies along the way until you reach the final boss.Beating the boss completes the dungeon and grants rewards.Rewards scale depending on the dungeon difficulty and your performance.Dungeons are designed to test your build in real conditions.A weak build will struggle to progress through the floors.A well-optimized build will clear dungeons efficiently and unlock better rewards.RANKED MODEThe game features a ranked system with multiple tiers:Farmer → Stable Boy → Infantryman → Knight → Royal Knight → WarlordYou have a limited number of ranked attempts per day.Winning increases your rank.Losing decreases it.Rank progression depends heavily on your build quality, not just playtime.HOW YOU PLAYIdle Knight supports two playstyles:- Passive play: progress in the background while using your PC - Active play: optimize builds and push ranked progression Most players naturally combine both approaches.COSMETICSCosmetic items are available through gameplay or purchase. They are purely visual and have no impact on gameplay or progression.MONETIZATIONIdle Knight is free-to-play.There is no pay-to-win system. All gameplay-relevant systems can be unlocked through normal progression.ANTI-CHEAT SYSTEMBecause progression is based on real input detection, the game includes an anti-cheat system. It detects:- macros - automated inputs - unnatural input patterns The goal is to ensure fair competition in ranked mode.ENGINEIdle Knight runs on a custom engine developed specifically for this game by me (VECR).It is designed for:- real-time input tracking - stable background performance - long-term incremental progression systems Everything is built specifically for this type of gameplay.NOTEIdle Knight is a long-term progression game.Progress naturally slows down over time. The game is designed around optimization, planning, and gradual improvement rather than fast completion.

✦ AI summary
Players praise this idle clicker game for being relaxing, simple, and free, with particular appreciation for the friendly community and responsive developers. The main criticism is that it differs from typical idle games and requires active engagement rather than pure passive progression, which some players find frustrating, though the developers emphasize the game is designed for fair play and balanced progression.
A Simple but fun long term idle game with a focus on Ranked PvP & Dungeon runs. Content wise for an Idle Game there isnt a lot compared to most, but for what they are aiming to achieve in regards to Daily PvP, customization, and a pretty solid anti cheat, it does it really well. If you have this running while typing/working/gaming you will enjoy the gradual progress. The Devs are pretty awesome too.3 found this helpful
Free game that counts key and mouse actions that build exp in the game while you do anything else. I personally love it, I'll be watchin something while I push down in the number keys to get exp or play some other active game that will also give me exp as I play it. There are some paid aspects to gain more keys for dungeons/ranked matches but the game is also free and those purchases are limited per week. While someone could gain a decent amount of exp from buying those keys, it does help a dev that put up something for free. Do wish I found this when it came out, I'm clawing my way up the leaderboard though and I enjoy big number getting bigger :3

Great idle game, I wish I found it sooner.
It's a cool concept but not great if you use mouse macros in other games - I use a macro to repeat my left click while holding it down in dungeon looters but it's flagging the anti-cheat and if I have to choose one or the other I'd rather not be banned while actively playing other games. One warning was enough for me and it doesn't seem like their anti-cheat is programmed with too much complexity to differentiate. It was fun to have for things like typing practice but it looks like this little knight will no longer be joining me on my journeys. Only recommend if you do not use macros, even while playing actively.
Very simple, straight forward, Idle imminent. Really all you could ask for when it comes to an idle game. Run the game on start up with windows, launch the game you were really gonna get into, voila. Every keyboard click, mouse stroke, controller input, translates directly into your leveling process. The devs are very helpful, updates are constantly rolling out, lots of future potential!
