Unprepared and helpless, you are taken to a dark place where a mysterious light hunts you. In this relentlessly terrifying survival horror game, you must use your wits to stay alive long enough to extinguish the light, or perish trying. But be warned: the light is crafty and observant, so this won't be an easy challenge.
D.F.R.: The Light is a single-player, first-person survival horror game with a heavy emphasis on stealth. It doesn't rely on jump scares, but instead builds a sustained feeling of dread in the player with its unique "reward/punishment" game mechanics and increasingly aggressive behavioral artificial intelligence.

ok this game delivers a great scare!!Just played it on easy and it wasn't that easy lol! I love everything about this game!! I'm quite suprised the lack of activity this game has seen being one of the first reviews and not seeing any gameplay footage or coverage by any youtubers since its release. For the price you cant go wrong for the value of money you get playing it as a short minigame to pass the time or taking it in turns with your friends at your home. It is a tense horror game (especially if you are wuss like me) having to constantly use sound to your advantage. The AI works well constantly surveying and sprinting to the location where you completed one of the objectives. You can't go wrong trying this game. It reminds me of the original slender man but with slightly different mechanics as having to hide from and avoid the AI than constantly being stalked and chased as you progress.3 found this helpful
