About Damned Cold
Damned Cold is a twin-stick shooter where you play as a prisoner of war trying to escape their captors through killing cold in a reactive diesel-punk world.
Each run through can take as little as a few minutes once paths are learned, and enemies and traps figured out - but unlockable modifiers will demand additional objectives be met before an escape attempted - and powerful new equipment and vehicles can be unlocked to help in those attempts.

Simple gameplay, and simple pixelated graphics to remind you of the good old days, Damned Cold is as challenging as twinstick shooters can get, you're trying to escape your emprisonment as a prisoner of war, you're going to die over and over again, but you'll rinse and repeat, as this game is very addicting.6 found this helpful
I feel like I'm only scratching the surface of what's in the game. Every playthrough I get a little bit wiser, a little bit better, a little bit further, followed by a whole lot deader. This is not a handholding experience, expect to learn through thinking at things and [i]a lot of error[/i]. I see myself coming back to this game again and again, exploring paths and finding things I didn't see before. The latest update brings controller support, I'm loving playing this on the big screen now. Easily recommended.
