Dark Ride: Sweet Dreams

It's a cozy ride, so no crazy speeds, twists, or turns. It's a slow ride down a very cute, lovely low-polygon art-style world. It's one of the best, if not the best free rollercoaster rides in VR. It's perfect for families with kids. It's just a magical world to just enjoy the chill vibes. If you're a rollercoaster fan like me, it's a must download. Keep in mind, it's just enjoying the ride, there is currently no other gameplay. It is EA and the devs are looking to add more though. I like it as is. I don't think they could add anything to make it better, other than to make it longer and as high-quality as it currently is. [b]Rate 7.5/10. This VR experience absolutely nails the feeling of a classic dark ride. It uses simple low-polygon shapes, but somehow feels more real than most VR experiences I've played. The scale of the objects and placement is very well done. Overall, the closest experience I could compare it to would be "It's a Small World", where there are so many things to see, you'll want to ride it again and again. The experience is only a few minutes long, and almost seems to be a proof of concept or demo of something larger. I have 5 kids and each of them wanted to try it. All 5, ages ranged from 2-9 years old, loved it and rode it 4 times a piece (I had to keep track for fairness of course). Fantastic little experience. I would love to see how this was made, a DevLog or something like that.

Currently the game consists in a 3 minutes long dark ride, cozy and somewhat surreal. Unlike the previous title, there is no gameplay so far, you just sit and enjoy the ride. Like in The Feline Fix the art direction is fantastic, I really love the style and all the little details, I played the ride 3 times in a row to be sure to see everything.

Came into this not knowing at all what a "Dark Ride" was. I only paid half attention to the trailer as well. I saw the cutesy setting and thought - why not, I could use something like this. But why is it called Dark Ri- Found out. What an interesting concept. Obviously I'm no connoisseur of Dark Rides but I can say this was a good way to be introduced to them. I recommend.

A nice and relaxing time.

Overall, I liked the idea. The game is still very short, but it looks nice and beautiful. There are even some interesting interactions.
