Dark Ride Simulator

"Dark Ride Simulator" is a lame VR tech demo about a fictional ride on a fictional theme part resulting in a fictional game with a fictional level of quality. We all know the old saying, if the only good thing about a game is VR, that just means VR is cool, and not the game. There's no real depth or interest here, the low quality presentation will be offputting... it's no wonder this flopped hard. This features a fairly low quality, sometimes low poly 3D visuals (sometimes not... mismatched assets look worse than the sum of their parts) which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded.
