Dead Metal has been an enjoyable tactical game. You can build your team members and go into missions to complete the main objective. There are a variety of classes to choose from, and I've found the combat to be very satisfying. The abilities you unlock as you level up your characters are always something to look forward to. I haven't had an opportunity to try out the multiplayer yet, but I feel like this game would be a blast with friends! Thematically, the game feels cohesive. The art, music, and gameplay all work together to provide a wonderful gaming experience. It's great that the game is regularly updated, I look forward to seeing this game evolve as it moves into the future. You don't need to be a strategy game junkie to find this game enjoyable. I think you could find enjoyment at all levels of gameplay, whether you wanted to take it more casually, or really squeeze the efficiency out of your build and allocation of Action Points. If you're thinking about trying this game, absolutely give it a shot, I think you'll enjoy it.1 found this helpful
A great game worth a play for anyone that enjoys turn based strategy.1 found this helpful
I've enjoyed playing this game for the couple of hours I've picked it up, as it has the easy to learn; difficult to master edge to a game which I think is the real hallmark of a great game The game is seemingly simple - just four dudes assaulting ships, in a Space Hulk-esque vibe- but there's an obvious depth of complexity and decision making. I agonised over what set up to take on the missions, and became fondly attached to anyone who survived more than one mission Overall it's a hard, engaging and enjoyable game1 found this helpful
