"Not this time, son. We got Resident Evil at home" Resident Evil at home:16 found this helpful
This is a great survival horror game that really captures the feel of the classic Resident Evil titles. The atmosphere is one of the game’s strongest points, creating constant tension as you move through its environments. Fans of old-school survival horror will appreciate the pacing, resource management, and sense of discovery. If you enjoyed the earlier Resident Evil games, you’ll feel right at home here. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a solid and engaging horror experience.3 found this helpful
Feels like classic Horror RPG Maker games, only more advanced. I have beaten the game once on hard now and got the desired experience, survival horror. That said I had many healing items and ammo left. You can feel the passion but story was a bit generic and bosses were not that good. Sanity Effects are funny the first time but become stale after that. Game is at its best when you are solving strange puzzles in evil mansions which is most of the time.3 found this helpful
At firs I wasn't expecting much from the game, but don't let the pixel graphic fools you, it has good horror atmosphere and a nice story to keep you up until you finish the game. all puzzles in the game require common sense to be solved.2 found this helpful
Great game we got right here. A 2D survival horror mostly on the side of classic RE games but longer, better characters, a more complex story and pretty good VA performances for the most part. Pros: 1) Pretty good sprite art. 2) Great VAs. 3) Good story that made me want more. I wanna play the sequel. 4) Ammo scarsity is a more serious aspect than in the classic RE games, you need to avoid as many enemies as possible, though sometimes you must eliminate some of them (besides bosses). 5) Pretty good length. Some RE fans may argue this game is too long for the genre but I preffer it this way. 6) Pretty good characters. Cons: 1) The knife worns out. Yeah, the worst weapon in the game needs to be repaired. Now, you're able to use it at 0% but its damage decreases drastically. 2) The voices are really loud when compared to everyother sound source. 3) If you use a controller (I used a PS5 one) you must use the left analog stick to move, 'cause the D-Pad is reserved for quick switching of weapons. 4) Most bosses are rather boring, you just run un circles to avoid their attacks, shoot and repeat until they die. 5) Sometimes it could use an indicator on …1 found this helpful
The art isn't very good, the voice actors aren't very good - the game isn't very good. The cistern, the "trapped in your mind" section, the overall plot and writing. Not great.
